چکیده
This study investigates the aerodynamic and aeroelastic characteristics of a transonic axial compressor, focusing on blade count reduced rotor behavior. The analysis is based experiments, conducted at Transonic Compressor Darmstadt test rig Technical University compulsory simulations. In order to obtain measurement data for detailed investigation, extensive steady unsteady instrumentation was applied. Besides transient measurements stability limit determine operating range limiting phenomena, performance were performed, presenting promising results with respect capabilities rotors. Close limit, disturbances like radial vortices detected both rotors, varying in size, count, speed trajectory. Comparing configurations different limits along compressor map as well aeromechanical Those effects can partially be traced variation pitch associated aerodynamics.

Aerostructural Optimization of a Transonic Compressor Rotor
This paper presents a framework for multi-objective and multidisciplinary design optimization using highfidelity analysis tools. In this framework the aerodynamic performance is evaluated based on a Navier–Stokes equation solver, and the structure dynamics is computed using commercially available finite element software. We employ a genetic algorithm as a robust design optimization tool to faci...

The Active Vibration and Noise Reduction (AVINOR) aeroelastic simulation code for helicopter rotor blades is described. AVINOR is a research code that has been developed at UCLA and the University of Michigan for the purpose of conducting computationally efficient aeroelastic response analyses while maintaining a level of fidelity so as to be suitable for preliminary design of helicopter rotor ...
متن کاملREDUCED-ORDER AERODYNAMIC MODELS FOR AEROELASTIC CONTROL OF TURBOMACHINES by KAREN
Aeroelasticity is a critical consideration in the design of gas turbine engines, both for stability and forced response. Current aeroelastic models cannot provide highdelity aerodynamics in a form suitable for design or control applications. In this thesis low-order, highdelity aerodynamic models are developed using systematic model order reduction from computational uid dynamic (CFD) methods. ...
متن کاملEffect of Reduced Frequency on the Unsteady Aerodynamic Performance of a Wind Turbine Blade Section
The blades of wind turbines are the most important parts in producing power output. In this study, a section of a 660 KW wind turbine blade will be installed in Iran in near future was tested in a wind tunnel. In addition to steady tests, various unsteady tests including the effects of reduced frequency, mean angle of attack, and amplitudes were carried out. The preliminary results show strong ...
